About the Artist I hope that my work will capture some of the beauty that I see in nature and my wish is to share this with others. I feel so grateful to find such joy in painting!

Abby Warman was raised in a very artistic family in Northeastern Pennsylvania.  Her earliest memories are of drawing and painting as a child and also being exposed to her mother's love of music.  She went on to receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Skidmore College.  In the late 70's she studied painting with Charles Reid in Westport, CT for several years, and later attended workshops given by Raymond Everett Kintsler, Charles Movalli, Laura Robb, Wolf Kahn, Richard Segalman, C.W. Mundy, Kevin Macpherson, and Joe Anna Arnett.  Originally interested in figurative work, she became fascinated with the challenge of still life and more recently has been exploring her new-found love of landscape and plein-air painting.  Her work has been exhibited in numerous national juried shows and she is the recipient of many awards.  Her work is included in the permanent collection of the Everhart Museum, Scranton, PA.  She now lives in Naples, Florida with her husband, Sandy, and when not painting spends time with family and traveling.
